Welcome home, Spiders!
Colleges are determined by random assignment, but we hope you have learned by now one of Yale’s open secrets: Jonathan Edwards is far and away the best residential college. Central to our fortunes is the JE community, a collection of students and faculty that together make this collection of dorms a true home, and within this lies the Jonathan Edwards College Council, or JECC, for short.
The JECC is the undergraduate government body for the college, led by students in coordination with our wonderful staff and administrators. Anyone is welcome to join at any time; our members come from all backgrounds and fields of study, and together we focus on strengthening the community we are a part of. The JECC holds weekly and monthly study breaks, formals, career advising events, holiday and seasonal festivities, and a whole other host of traditions such as the famed Tulip Princess Election.
If you are a member of the Class of 2029 just settling into life at Yale, we would like to welcome you to the college and extend an invitation for any Sunday, at 11:30 in the Buttery, to help us bring our college even closer together. JE SUX!
