Serena Cho

Serena is a PhD student studying political theory. She graduated from Yale in 2021 with a BA in humanities and ethics, politics, and economics. She then read intellectual history and classics at the University of Cambridge. She is interested in how aesthetic considerations—that is, our receptivity to beauty and embeddedness in culture(s)—influence our political judgments. Serena spends her free time running, going to plays and concerts, and over-analyzing any and all cultural trends and political rhetoric with her friends. Serena is excited to meet members of the JE community. Please write Serena to chat about anything, including the Humanities major, your favorite New Haven restaurants, Romanticism, and the latest NYT Cooking recipe.
