Myles H. Alderman

Myles H. Alderman, JE ’58, was a New Haven area business executive for over 35 years who then transitioned to the non-profit environmental sphere working for The Nature Conservancy and The Connecticut Fund for the Environment and then as a consultant for numerous regional and statewide land trusts. Currently, he continues his interest in environmental issues by doing volunteer work for land conservation organizations. He was co-founder and first president of the Board of New Haven Urban Resources Initiative, a program at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. His primary avocation is the American Civil War with particular interest in the role of Yale men in the War. He would be delighted to speak with students regarding their interests in the not-for-profit world.
