Chris Cole

Chris Cole is a first-year MFA candidate at the School of Art. He was born and raised in New Haven before moving to Pittsburgh for high school, and then Massachusetts for college where he concentrated in studio art (installation, printmaking, performance), art history, and psychoanalytic theory. After college he lived in NYC for several years working in museums and with rare books before moving to a very small town in the mountains of Western MA and shifting into public service. Currently his practice is focused on print, publication, and typography, but he is more than happy to talk about work in all mediums. He is thrilled to be back in New Haven and to have the opportunity to meet and get to know all the members of the JE community!
