Howdy! I’m Annie Chian, a junior in JE from Orange, CA double majoring in Earth and Planetary Sciences and Humanities. JE has a unique position and artistic history with its proximity to the YUAG and its printing press, and I am excited to uplift the creative community in the college as your new Gallery Manager! Beyond being a physical room to display art, the gallery is a space for playful projects of all mediums, conversations about art, and the JE community. It’s a place for your creative work to find a home. As Gallery manager, I will manage all aspects of the space, including coordinating creative projects and CPA shows made by Spiders. Look forward to gallery openings and colorful projects as you walk through the basement.
Find me around campus co-captaining the Yale Climbing Team, FOOT leading, working at the Peabody, and making creative things in the JE Press room!
If you have work to display or ideas for shows, email annie.chian@yale.edu or text 657-236-7657.
