Ju Hyun Lee is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on developing novel nanoparticle therapies, ranging from encapsulating nucleic acids to small molecules. Before coming to Yale, Ju Hyun pursued a BA in chemistry and a MM in cello performance through the Harvard/New England Conservatory dual-degree program. She then spent some time studying across the pond in Cambridge, UK. Outside of research, she is passionate about community work and is part of various groups at Yale’s School of Medicine and School of Music that serve the greater New Haven area.
