Matthew is an MBA student at Yale SOM who’s into clean energy and sustainability. Before coming here, he worked in consulting, mostly helping natural resource companies figure out sustainability strategies and cut emissions. He graduated with degrees in Economics and Geology at Pitzer College, one of the Claremont Colleges in Southern California. At Yale, he is part of the Energy Club and does research at the Center for Business and Environment at Yale (CBEY) on solar and batteries. Before grad school, Matthew spent two years up in Aomori, Japan with the JET Program. He taught high school English, and when he wasn’t in the classroom he was skiing, traveling around, playing in tennis tournaments, and eating. He’s from New York.
