Angela Luo is a medical student who has just finished her third year and is originally from Philadelphia, PA. She is now completing a dedicated research year at Yale, focusing on inherited epidermal differentiation disorders (EDDs), and also serves as the ichthyosis registry coordinator and a clinical trial coordinator. Before coming to Yale, Angela obtained a BA in biology from Columbia University in 2020 and took two gap years to conduct gene therapy research at CHOP/ Penn. Outside of research and medical school, she is an avid golfer, loves playing with her goldendoodle Axel, trying new restaurants in New Haven, and watching Dancing with the Stars.
